FluoroGet-500 contains Fluorouracil: what it is
Fluorouracil, often called 5-FU, is a long-used chemotherapy medicine that stops cancer cells from copying their DNA and growing. It is used for several adenocarcinomas, including cancers of the colon and rectum, breast, stomach and pancreas, often together with other medicines. Some people have low levels of an enzyme called DPD that breaks down 5-FU, so the doctor may order a test for this before starting.
