CapeGet 500 contains Capecitabine: what it is
Capecitabine is a chemotherapy medicine taken by mouth. Inside the body it is changed into fluorouracil (5-FU), which slows the growth of cancer cells. It is used for certain cancers of the colon, rectum, stomach, esophagus and pancreas, and for advanced breast cancer, either alone or together with other treatments.

- Stage III colon cancer after surgery, and locally advanced rectal cancer as part of chemoradiation
- Colorectal cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery
- Advanced or metastatic breast cancer (alone or with docetaxel)
- Stomach, esophageal or gastroesophageal junction cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery (with other medicines)
- Pancreatic cancer after surgery (with other chemotherapy)
