AbiraGet 250 contains Abiraterone: what it is
Abiraterone is a hormone medicine for prostate cancer. It lowers the amount of male hormones (androgens) the body makes, which prostate cancer cells use to grow. It is taken together with a steroid medicine (prednisone or prednisolone) as prescribed by an oncologist or urologist.
Hormone therapy (androgen biosynthesis inhibitor, CYP17 inhibitor)

- Metastatic prostate cancer that no longer responds to hormone-lowering treatment (castration-resistant)
- High-risk metastatic prostate cancer that still responds to hormone-lowering treatment (castration-sensitive)
