Palonosetron is an anti-nausea medicine that helps prevent nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy. In adults it is also used to help prevent nausea and vomiting after surgery. It works by blocking a chemical signal in the body (serotonin) that can trigger vomiting.

- Preventing nausea and vomiting for up to 24 hours after surgery in adults
