HydroxyGet 500 contains Hydroxyurea: what it is
Hydroxyurea, also called hydroxycarbamide, is a medicine taken by mouth that slows the production of certain cells in the bone marrow. It is used for some blood cancers and certain other cancers, and separate brands are used for sickle cell anemia. Caregivers are advised to wear disposable gloves when handling the medicine and to wash their hands before and after.
