Gilternib contains Gilteritinib: what it is

Gilteritinib is a targeted medicine that blocks FLT3, a protein that can drive the growth of some leukemia cells. It is used for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has an FLT3 mutation and has come back or did not respond to earlier treatment. A lab test is needed to confirm the FLT3 mutation before starting.
